I would recommend Jim Goodwin Photography to anyone and everyone. I now have pictures that I can treasure for a lifetime. I usually do not like having my picture taken, neither does my husband, but Jim and Krisna make you feel so comfortable in front of the camera that you do not even realize you are being photographed. On the day of our wedding, they were on time and very professional. They not only took our pictures but I actually had to tell Krisna to stop cleaning my room because she is so willing to help make your day as stress-free as possible. They are an amazing couple that has a truly unique and artistic eye for photography. We not only have found our photographers that we will use for any event but we made friends over burgers and milkshakes! Stop looking and book them!! They are worth every penny!!

I have known Krisna for years so I knew that her and Jim would be the perfect couple to capture special moments for my wedding. Throughout the process, Krisna and Jim were readily available to answer my questions ad reassure me that everything would be taken care of. On our wedding day they were punctual and professional. They took the time to capture every detail of this important day and put me at ease throughout the day. After the wedding craziness settled, Krisna and Jim got my photos to me without delay. They even photo shopped some pictures for me so I was sure to get exactly what I wanted. They are true artists and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

This is the best photography company I have ever seen! They captured every moment and the pictures were beyond amazing! I would by far recommend them to any bride who wants a genuine, professional, and hard working team that will make lasting memories of their special day.

Please. Stop wasting your time. If you are even considering Jim Goodwin then just stop right now and HIRE HIM!!! You won't find a better photographer...guaranteed. Jim and Krisna took the most amazing photos and are some of the most amazing helpful people you'll ever meet. They did everything from taking amazing photographs to actually packing our car before we left. You really can't go wrong with them. Do yourself a favor and stop wasting your time stressing over who to hire. These guys are the ones.

I really enjoyed working with them for my wedding pictures! They have wonderful wedding packages and will work with you and get you what you want. The first time I met them i felt like i knew them. Jim and krisna are so friendly and professional. Their pictures are beautiful that they took and the pictures really did capture my wedding like I wanted!

there are no other words to say about these two, to put it simply... book them NOW! They are worth every penny. As I think about my day I am amazed at my utter lack of memory of their presence. Sure I remember taking pictures before the wedding but during the ceremony I swear they were invisible. At the reception they were here, there and everywhere. I would never consider another photographer.

Jim & Krisna photographed our wedding in Alexandria,Va. They have been so very flexible throughout this whole experience. Jim drove all the way out to Charlotte North Carloina 2 times, where we currently live. Once to introduce himself and show us some albums and the second time was for our engagement shoot. Do not skip this! Our photos came out amazing and we had a lot of fun. Jim did a wonderful job capturing all the beautiful scenery. Throughout the whole experience Jim & Krisna were the least demanding of all our vendors. They were very calm about the whole experience we had other vendors who all wanted additional information and requests the week of the wedding! Like we didnt have enough to do! The morning of the wedding Jim and Krisna went out to the dirving range where my housband was and took photos there. They then came down to my parents house where all the girls were. We had an emergency and the lady did not show up who was doing our make up. I had the lady's doing our hair help me do my make up and Krisna helped too! They were so flexible with the whole situation as we were running late, but we still managed to capture everything in the little time that we had! We truly had a wonderful time with Jim and Krisna throughout the whole day. The photos turned out wonderful and we had a blast taking them. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They were definately one of the best Vendors at the wedding!

Everything about Jim Goodwin Photography was PERFECT! Not only were our photos amazing...but my husband and I really enjoyed our spending time with Jim and Krisna! They took so much time to make certain that both of our personalities was shown in our photos. Our engagement session was so much fun, my bridal portrait session was amazing and made me feel so beautiful, and they truly captured every special moment of our wedding day! Great service! My best advice to any future brides is to NOT sweat the small stuff! Something WILL go wrong--but what matters at the end of the day is that you are married to the love of your life and best friend! Just kick back, relax, and enjoy your day! We all hope to only get married once so we want it to be perfect as a bride---but really, even though some things went wrong on my wedding day, it WAS perfect! We had our family and friends there to celebrate and I became a wife, so I couldn't have had a more perfect day! Pick the vendors that YOU want, and not what others tell you to go with. Smile big, don't be afraid to cry, and love with all your heart. In terms of this vendor specifically--Jim Goodwin Photography-- be yourself and your pictures will tell the story of your special day! If you want something specific, don't be afraid to ask! You might find it helpful to make a list ahead of time of specific shots you want, if there are any. When it comes to being a new married couple---love each other with all your hearts! Be sure to say I love you every night before you go to bed, and kiss each other good bye every morning! I hope that as a bride you have as much fun planning your wedding as I did, and I hope that you have YOUR perfect wedding day!!!

The quality of service that Jim and Krisna provide is obvious in their portfolios - these guys are absolutely on par, if not a tad more talented, than the big-bucks photogs you find in major cities. I felt that my wedding photos looked like celebrity photos, and I had several people say that to me, as well. They are extremely available and communicative, and easy to reach with technology like email and text, which I think brides in our generation prefer to use. They are completely professional and impressive, and also VERY funny, easy to work with, comfortable, and like old friends. I must put emphasis here on their value for cost. I had lunch with Jim and Krisna when they did my bridal portraits and literally told them they weren't charging me enough for how good their work is. I HIGHLY recommend that brides get ahold of these gems before they explode onto the scene. I consider them the best-kept secret in professional, truly artful photography.

Jim is amazing. He traveled to Washington, DC to photograph my wedding. And then traveled to Haymarket, VA for our reception. He was extremely nice, prompt, and his pictures were wonderful. He kept me updated on everything and called me the night before our wedding when he got in town for piece of mind. The morning of the wedding he was on time and photographed our wedding and reception all day until we dropped. I highly recommend Jim Goodwin Photography for your special day.
